SSSNB — Shree Shyam Sudhama Nishan Bhandar

The Complete Nishan Guide — crafts, colours & customization

॥ Jai Shree Shyam ॥

What is a Nishan?

A Nishan is the triangular sacred flag carried to Khatu Shyam Ji's temple — a vow (mannat) lifted onto the shoulder. It is the most cherished offering of a Shyam devotee, carried on foot during the Falgun Mela and on personal yatras year-round.

Printed vs Jari work

Printed (PR) Nishans carry crisp, vivid designs at an everyday price — ideal for regular yatra and gifting in numbers. Jari (JR) work adds hand-finished golden zari thread for a richer, ceremonial look — chosen for special mannats and larger sizes.

Colours

Nishans come in many colours — the deep Shyam blue, saffron, red, yellow, green, pink, white and more. Many devotees match the colour to a vow or simply to what calls to them; there is no wrong choice. You can see every available colour live on the product page.

Customizing your Nishan

On the product page you choose craft, design, size and colour, and the matching bans (pole) is paired automatically — 8ft+ poles ship as joinable segments. Want a size or design we don't list? A custom (S7) Nishan is made to order with a personal quote.
